En Block and Mastopexy Implant Removal

Over the last couple of years, this 48-year-old patient was coping with general fatigue and ill health with negative medical work ups. Suspecting that it may be Breast Implant Illness (BII), she decided to have a consultation with Dr. Leonard about permanent implant removal. She was also interested in having any possible reconstruction to optimize her breast shape after implant removal. She underwent en bloc capsulectomy, having the implants removed while still inside the capsule, and a reconstructive breast lift. Her final appointment was 7 months after surgery and was extremely pleased with her final results.
