En Block and Mastopexy Implant Removal

This 55-year-old woman had breast implants place 11 years prior to her consultation with Dr. Leonard. Over time, she has developed many symptoms associated with Breast Implant Illness (BII) and also a suspected silicone allergy. She decided to proceed with en bloc implant removal, which removes the capsule surrounding the implant with the implant still inside. She also opted to have a breast lift in order to maximize her remaining breast tissue. She returned for her final follow up and was very happy with her results and physical presentation of her breasts. She also experienced a dramatic improvement in her BII symptoms.
