En Block and Mastopexy Implant Removal

This 59-year-old had breast implants placed 2 years prior to her consultation with Dr. Leonard. A few months after surgery, she began to develop breast pain and other symptoms associated with Breast Implant Illness (BII). Despite her best efforts to treat her symptoms with diet changes, vitamins, Tylenol, her pain and symptoms persisted. She was interested in having her implants permanently removed and the goal was an en bloc implant removal. She also wanted a breast lift in order to maximize her breast tissue. 6 months after surgery she said she was very happy, feeling better, and able to resume running and physical activities.
