En Block and Mastopexy Implant Removal

After having implants for 30 years, this 65-year-old patient began having general health problems that were bothersome and she wondered if they were related to her implants. She consulted with Dr. Leonard regarding permanent implant removal and also wanted to have a reconstructive breast lift. She elected to have an en bloc capsulectomy and reconstructive breast lift. At her 6-month checkup, she was feeling much healthier and was very happy with her decision.
