En Block and Mastopexy Implant Removal

This 51-year-old came in to see Dr. Leonard to discuss removal of her breast implants. They were placed 11 years earlier and were smooth round gel. About 5 years ago she began to have intermittent left breast pain and a severe burning sensation. Over time, the symptoms became fairly constant and began to occur in the right breast also. Because of this, she was interested in having her implants permanently removed and reconstructive lifting to maximize her breast shape and size. Her final follow up was 6 ½ months after surgery. She said she was doing very well and is much more comfortable with the implants out. She is very happy with her final results.
