En Block Implant Removal
This 61-year-old woman had breast implants placed in 1990. She has had two revisions since then to treat capsular contracture and implant rupture. Now experiencing firm tender breasts because of capsular contracture again, she has decided to have her implants permanently removed. She has experienced other symptoms that are often associated with Breast Implant Illness (BII). She returned 7 months after surgery for her final appointment and said she is feeling much better and is happy with her results. She is considering fat grafting to the right breast in the future to fill the indentation.
