Patient F.
Expander Implants
This patient is 60 years of age, and was diagnosed with right breast ductal carcinoma in situ (DCIS). After consultations with both her surgical oncologist and Dr. Leonard, she felt bilateral mastectomy and reconstruction was the best option for her. Final implants were a textured, round high profile gel implant. She was able to have nipple sparing mastectomies that have allowed her to maintain a very natural appearance. During one of the reconstructive stages, multiple dark spots are her chest were removed, which she greatly appreciated. She is very happy with her reconstructive decisions and her final results.
