Breast Reduction

This 44 year old patient came in for consultation with complaints of markedly large breasts as well as significant difference in size. She had the classic symptoms of upper back strain, as well as shoulder strap grooving and pain. Her goals of surgery were to achieve smaller, more balanced breasts that would fit her body. Breast reduction was done using a pedicle technique, where the breast can be suspended higher on the chest wall utilizing a sutured technique. Her post op pictures are  months after surgery. Even though the scars are still pink, they will go on to fully settle in the upcoming year. She said that her preoperative symptoms have disappeared and she is really happy that she is able to be much more active.
