Patient B.

Remove & Replace

This patient is a 51 year old female, who many years ago underwent breast augmentation with silicone implants that were placed on top of the muscle. She developed a very aggressive capsular contracture which can be seen in the preoperative photos. At her consultation, her goal was to obtain more natural breasts which fit her chest wall. After examination, based on her presentation, it was recommended that it would be best to use a textured implant to reduce the risk of contracture and to place the implants under the muscle for a more natural result. Dimensional sizing was performed to obtain the appropriate width and size implants. Her result was a much more natural feeling and appropriate sized breast. She also no longer had constant pain in her chest. She is extremely pleased with her results.
